The Community Engagement and Leadership Education (CELE) Center offers courses for UW students to earn academic credit while volunteering in K-12 schools! If you are interested in educational equity and gaining direct-service experience working with K-12 students, then we encourage you to enroll in our courses. SPAN 101 is available in Autumn 2024 with 5 spaces reserved specifically for first-year students. Additionally, SPAN 102 is scheduled to be offered in Winter 2025.
SPAN 110 Accelerated Elementary Spanish will continue to be offered in Autumn 2024. SPAN 110 covers the equivalent of 101 and 102 to prepare for 103.
